noob question - most output in a potential 4 channel setup

Recommended Posts

was looking at possibly getting Hertz High Energy comps up front and possibly coaxials from the same line for the rear

using a 4 channel amp (75 watts per...bridged to 150) can someone estimate which setup would be the loudest and possibly if the differences would be substantial or not?

1.front two channels at 75 watts each and rears off head unit power

2.amp bridged to the front comps and rears off head unit power

3.all speakers ff the four channels at 75 watts each

also, if I went without the rears in these scenarios...how many db's would I lose roughly?

from what I think I'm learning, 3db seems to me the magic number for noticable audible diffeenes

me personally, i would only run front speakers. but if i were to run all 4, i would do it with all 4 off the amp in your case. but it is completely up to what you want to do.

and dbs? mids and highs. not my area at all.
