Troopzz Posted April 23, 2012 Report Share Posted April 23, 2012 hi, can someone help me to calculate a box for me, im getting 2 15" vvx my Max space is H 20.7 W 37 D 16.5 i would like it tuned to like 32 hz,, i want it to be in a crx box ive bin trying for days to figure out a good box for my hatchback, but i just cant get it right! and i need pro help ;( mostly its the port that fucks things up, please, can someone help me. kolton5543 Posted May 11, 2012 Report Share Posted May 11, 2012 (edited) I came up with this for you. It is meant for 3/4" wood. I had forgot to compensate for displacement so tuning should change slightly when a sub is installed. each chamber is about 2.08^3 before displacement and is tuned for about 32hz before displacement. I can always redesign it a bit for you if you'd like. Perhaps you could let me know what side of the box you want your ports and sub cut outs to be. there is also right angles in the ports so if you want smoother corners I can add that to the redesigned box.
