I was driving around one night with my a/c on a windows down and all the condesation from the vent above soaked the back of the headunit. I thought it was done but i just let it dry overnight and it fired right up. The usb input is awesome on it also i had a 40gb hd connected to it for some time before my power inverter blew up Right now im just using a 1gb sony flash drive. umm what else. Stephen Posted December 22, 2007 Report Share Posted December 22, 2007 Im not to sure on eclipse i had/have a 5425 a couple year back and it was an awesome unit but i did have some complaints. 1.) the rotary knob for song seaching rather than buttons made it real easy to skip over songs all the time. and 2.) Expensive modules for anything. ex. a ipod or aux input will cost you a whole lot more than it would with a kenwood. Also my cuz bought the 3000 last year at circuit city and 2 moths later the damn thing blew up on him and circuit city would not do a damn thing. The harness they used to install replaces the one that comes with the unit and does not have a fused line like the orginal, and because that eclipse would not replace it.
