FSU Racing Posted April 24, 2012 Report Posted April 24, 2012 i have a planet audio 4000.1 amp, and a pioneer 10" champion series hooked at 2 ohm. every so often i will play a song which normally i have to turn way way down (eyes on fire dubstep) because one of the drops will fuck up my sub, but other times the same song at the same volume with the same source will barely produce any bass at all. it doesnt only happen with this song, its the subwoofer in general that will suddenly get quiet and shy. every time this happens my battery is running at a perfect 14.6 volts (huge alternator) but for some reason it just doesnt want to bump. then suddenly in the morning or the next time i get in my truck everything will be normal. what could this be?

FSU Racing Posted April 30, 2012 Author Report Posted April 30, 2012 stock alternator, big diesel batt, enough cranking amps to blow up a car, not a deep cycle. the amps ground seems fine, if the ground wasnt connected right wouldnt it stop working?

My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid.
