Elyse911 Posted April 25, 2012 Report Posted April 25, 2012 I have a chevy impala lt 2008, and I recently got some subwoofers and an amp. I want to install it but some are telling me it's a bad idea because of dangers to the electronics. Any information would be great.

My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid.

(This is all what I've been told lol). who told you that? they're fucking idiots. if you install everything properly, nothing will catch on fire or screw up. i never even heard of a system screwing with onstar or the quality of the radio. the car will stall if you have like 4000 watts on an 80 amp alternator. and thats only cause the voltage will drop so low the ecu wont be on anymore.
