ANyone know calculus?

graphing it or solving for f(2) will both work

first derivitive gives you the slope of f(x) at x

set f'(x) to 0 to find points of inflections, slope of first graph is 0 at point x

then from there it's just figuring out if you have an absolute min or max

once you find out where your inflection points are you put those back into f(x)

it's been a while since i've done this so sorry if the explanation sucks lol

I get that but why f(2)? when my point was -2?

I put in -2 into f(x) and I got -11, I must be putting it in the calculator wrong

Take first derivative and set equal to zero.. if u got the x value right u should just have to plug it into the equation and get a y value. But I'm drunk tired Nd failing calc 3 good luck bro hahaha

calc is horrible! But I have a B and struggling the fuck through it, especially when I have these sitting in my room waiting for a box in my car!

Just graph the function on your calculator (guessing you have a ti83 or 84) and hit 2nd, calc, minimum, then move the cursor left of the min &hit enter, right of the min &hit enter, then enter once more should give ya coordinates
