I need help with a box I have 4 AudioQue HDC4 18's and I have a suburban so lots of space I don't really do competitions but I love to be loud as hell. And I love my low bass a lot let me know what's good for mainly music thanks

How much power you got

If you love low bass then tune low 25-30hz and max cuft

If you want good alround tune 30-35hz

Most of the 15"s if had have be tuned around 37 in close to min cuft on full tilt and I have enjoyed them, but then again that the music I lission to aswell

Well one guy told me I need a bigger box and a bigger port the box size I was thinking is W-50/H-25/D-45 and port would be W-48.5/H-10/D-33 suppose to be 30hz according to the 12 volt dot com but for power I'm stuck between the american bass 1000.1 or 2 crescendo 5500s not sure never heard either brand in person

Jump over to the amp section and see what people say about them, or maybe some in this section may be able to help you choise on them

both are good amps, running one amp as opposed to two will in general be more reliable but you'll probably be fine either way. As to the box...what is low to you? low thirties? high twenties? low twenties?

John, No. tune higher with audioques. you're losing output if you tune that low with the hdc3 series. tune 35+ and they will still get down. you don't always need to tune low to get low.

also audioques like big boxes, so plan on taking out some seats. or just wall it.

measure twice before you buy. this would've been a better question to ask before you bought the subs.
