Thewes Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 I was about to purchase a Iraqqi 300 amp alt for my Yukon (biggest made) until I heard it had a shitty idle amp rating. Is this true, and if so, should I just go for a lower amp alt from Iraqqi?

I have an excessive ampreage alt and when im beating at a stop light my voltage will drop to 11.3 but if im beating down the highway it wont move off 14.4. If i were you i would get dual alts with a lower rating. say dual 200 amps you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be. DC POWER
