DannyA.K.ABasshead Posted April 28, 2012 Author Report Posted April 28, 2012 are you gonna have a high output alternator/batteries? or do you and your dad just wanna throw it in, wire up a couple runs of 8gauge to the rear and see what happens? Uhh... No Im going to get a higher output alt. and another battery just not sure what battery to get yet. My dad says there is a optima that should do the job for the mean time.

Well right now we have a optima and we have had it for over 3 years and it still works like brand new. It is the main battery to my vehicle. It has never died and I have been really impressed with it. But if it doesnt last then I will look at the other batteries. But alt. wise Im looking at Mechman not quite sure who to go with but I've been hearing some good things about Mechman alternators.

Sorry I typed that the wrong way I dont want a cheap amp Im just looking for one that is more affordable for me. Companies that have been in my eyes have been: Audioque, RE, Cresendo, Sundown, Soundstream, and Rockford.
