What about the slot port displacement and volume thing? How do i figure up the tuning if it changes the volume, and the volume changes the tuning? Its like a catch 22. I just dont want the expense of them. I literally just built ym last box, and it broke along one of the seams. I underestimated the level 4 m2's, and didnt add enough bracing. I was running a box that was 46W x 21H x 16D, 1/2" indents, dual chamber, and 2- 3" aeroports per chamber. tuned to around 30 hertz. It sounded awesome, even got me my first noise ticket lol, but then I played rack city, and the box broke on the driver's side seam. I dont wana fix it, cuz I wana make it a bit bigger, tune a little lower, and im afraid its prolly just gna break again. Or leak. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

BUT, i dont usually do slot ports, never quite clicked with me, I've preferred aeroports. So, i dont mean to come off as rude, but Instead of criticizing, why dont u help me learn how to do slot ports so I can get better?
