Hi guys... im having trouble deciding on which amp i should run. I ordered a RF 700bd to power this sub, but ive been reading around and people have been putting 1k+ rms to them with no problems. should i return the 700.1 and order a 1000bd? my main goal is for SQ. my car is a 2010 altima coupe... ordered all knu wire.... power t1 RF 6.5 components for the front, powered off a RF 300-2. Also some power 6x9s in the rear, and second skin damplifier in the trunk and doors. So what do you guys think? 700+ rms or 1k+ rms for a single 10. This is gonna be a 1.3 cube box tuned to 32hz.

wrong equipment for SQ, imo.

id think if its just for SQ...why worry too much? ull have about the right amount of power (besides maybe rise)...but thats just my .02 good luck either way

Maybe i chose the wrong words... when i meant SQ i kinda meant for it to just sound clean. not over the top bass. i was asking bc after box rise and all i was thinking a 1000bd. but i know the RF amps are underrated and ive seen some of the 700bds birthsheets close to 1k rms anyway. just wanted some opinions while my stuff is being shipped before i start building.

ah, gotcha. I personally think the 700 will be fine.
