BobbyG2 Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 A bandpass is an enclosure that is designed to play a specific set of frequencies. A 4th order bandpass has two chambers, a sealed side to comtrol the low end, and a ported side to determine the center point of the frequency. A 6th order also has two chambers, but they're both ported. One chamber is tuned low to control the low end extension, and the other is tuned high to control the upper frequency extension. Band passes are hard to design and implement, but can have very good results. A blowthrough is when someone with a pickup truck cuts out the wall separating the cabin and bed, and has the enclosure in the bed of the truck firing into the cabin. *New vehicle and system coming soon.*

If you cut the cab and connect the two, and actually take dimensions and create a port that would make it a legit bandpass.
