bass_stalker
wouldnt recommend running an amp below one ohm daily, that low load puts alot of strain on an amp, but if you really want to do it you should get a dual alt kit, and probobly 3 large agm sealed batteries, big three upgrade in 0 gauge, you could also add some dual 0 gauge reducers to the amp to run two powers and grounds to the amp Quote JEEP BUILD PROJECT ANTIBLING.2000 jeep Cherokee.HEADUNITAlpine Cda-9886SUBSTAGE1 acendent 18" audio mayhem motor with a TI basket and tantric parts1 prototype DAT hellfire 1000.1HIGHSStockELECTRICALdb link 0 gaugeKnuconceptz Kolossus 4 gauge1 xs power d3400 under hoodBig 3 upgradeold fourwheeler build The only way to delete your SMD account is for you crawl to steve meades door step on your knees and pleade for his forgiveness and acceptance to be released...He will either grant your wishes.....or choke you with a large piece of 0 gauge and electrocute you by hooking up a solid gold DC 12k at 0.000001 ohm and 10000 volts to your eye sockets and blow your head apart You guys act like you have never clogged a toilet and ran around the bathroom frantically hoping it don't overflow. Nick7186
So 3 subs at 1.3 ohm would be better than 2 at 1 ohm? Because more cone space? Also what are the thoughts tuning the boxes differently? Say two at 32 and one at 40-45 ish??? bass_stalker
its possible to do it like that but you would need two seperate amps to do it and there is alot of calculation and science to setting the gains and frequincies, crossovers and what not correctly to make it sound right, the simpiliest way to do it is to just build a traditional ported box for the subs Edited May 11, 2012 by bass_stalker Quote JEEP BUILD PROJECT ANTIBLING.2000 jeep Cherokee.HEADUNITAlpine Cda-9886SUBSTAGE1 acendent 18" audio mayhem motor with a TI basket and tantric parts1 prototype DAT hellfire 1000.1HIGHSStockELECTRICALdb link 0 gaugeKnuconceptz Kolossus 4 gauge1 xs power d3400 under hoodBig 3 upgradeold fourwheeler build The only way to delete your SMD account is for you crawl to steve meades door step on your knees and pleade for his forgiveness and acceptance to be released...He will either grant your wishes.....or choke you with a large piece of 0 gauge and electrocute you by hooking up a solid gold DC 12k at 0.000001 ohm and 10000 volts to your eye sockets and blow your head apart You guys act like you have never clogged a toilet and ran around the bathroom frantically hoping it don't overflow. Trey_Dog650
honestly if you already have the yellow tops. use them. nothing wrong with them. when they die off or your needs become larger upgrade later. honestly i would go with the 2 subs. once you figure out what subs you want to use, you can figure out a design for the enclosure and then figure out what power you need Quote 13 Kia Forte Build! 07 Hyundai Accent Build ***Super Seller*** N8ball2013 And then he gets to say ok all you guys were right. im sorry for being a dummy poo poo head.
