SilveradoGoesBang
Quick port question for you guys sounds simple but would like to make sure. Lets say my box 20" tall and my port is 4" wide then my port shouldnt be any longer than 16" but if its longer than 16" i need to bend it? But if my box is 20" tall with 4" wide and my port is less than 16" will that hurt anything? This is a port that is going to be centered in the back of a box in a extended cab truck so only one common wall with the box with the subs foward if it matters. Thanks guys! LZTYBRN
why shouldnt it be longer then 16? or is your box 20 deep too? I think the port is going to be facing upward. Lets say my box 20" tall and my port is 4" wide then my port shouldnt be any longer than 16" but if its longer than 16" i need to bend it? But if my box is 20" tall with 4" wide and my port is less than 16" will that hurt anything? Assuming the port takes up the full DEPTH of the box, you'll have to make a T-shaped port, with the top part of "T" being 2 inches wide. No. Just to clarify, port upward right? You never said it, I just assumed.

will77530
just remember the width of the port needs to remain constant
