Yes, it's hard work, but at a later time you might regret not doing it. Also, the fuse on the power run should be as close to the power source as possible, and at least before going through any metal. Front and rear. You might not ever have a problem with it the way you have it now, but it's just one of those things.. Not to be mean, just trying to help.
