Almost need a scope hooked to them 24/7 to make sure they arent throttling down. Enough secrets... It will downshift if the Rail voltage gets to low Rail voltage on a transformer based amp goes down when input voltage goes down and current goes up. Once the amp "downshifts" it stays there, it does not have a circuit to make it upshift. This is very similar to how the rf bdcp amps work. I know a couple guys that may or may not be thinking about making a bdcp killer. Class a/b that can upshift. Ok, thats enough.
