Most if not all laptops should have a factory restore setup. One way to check is open Computer and see if you have a large HDD partition and a smaller one(forget size, but it should be fairly small). If you have a smaller HDD partition then you should have factory restore. Just read up on how to use it through Google. That will get you back to the way it was from day one.

also, if it has that other partition is there you should see something on that start up screen that says i.e "F11 system restore" but make sure you take the photos and music off the HD first and put them on a disc or flash drive..
