Dylank811 Posted May 17, 2012 Author Report Posted May 17, 2012 Putting a steam cleaner to the tint will make your life much easier taking off the tint & won't ruin the defroster, just steam it, then it'll peel right off without leaving any adhesive behind. Thanks for the advice, I heard that's what tint shops use for it anyway. I'll ask around and see if I can find one. I don't wanna go through too much hassle with it. I used to work for a shop doing tint so I learn a few tips & tricks! Before that, I used to go through hell removing old tint for windows, not to mention making a mess with them blades. Haha oh yeah man, I broke my razor blade twice haha. That and I had to get the shop vac out to get all the tint peelings off my seats haha. And that was from the side windows. Cameraman fail. Looks much better now that the ripped off paint from where these used to be is now covered with fresh badges. Good stuff. Pictures of nice, bright lights on the way tonight. But some builds are never over, im in the process of the same as you but with a 89 coupe. its been painted sence sept of last year and having some touch up done atm. mabey i will upload some pics of mine when i get it back.

If both, i'd do the Fox as a more, street, fast, weightless car, with a nice little SQ, and the other car as more, of a bass system. Dylank811 Posted May 23, 2012 Author Report Posted May 23, 2012 Did a brake job on the Stang yesterday. The left rear brake shoe or whatever the hell it's called was cracked in half and my front hoses were dry rotted. I decided to just replace all the pads all around. I fucking hate drum brakes even more after putting those on. Old hose. New hose installed. New pads! As so for the other side. Redneck safety. The real fun begins. And the crack. And the new pads are on. Then, for today I went back up to Goodyear and had to settle for 225/50's all around because of their shitty selection. I really wanted 255/50's for the rear...maybe next time. Service is great, but selection is for boring everyday drivers. Hey, now I have room for lowering springs. Chrome plated flashers and parking lights = no amber. Edit: System in on the way. Hopefully this week.
