Building a box for 2 dc lvl4 12's. I think there is 3 types of MDF so which kind? Which wood screws, fiberglass, woodglue.ect? Lbox88 Posted May 14, 2012 Report Share Posted May 14, 2012 ~1 sheet of 3/4" MDF wood screws titebond 2 screw gun Circular saw (If you plan on doing your own cuts) Jig saw or router for cutting the holes out. Router will give you better cuts if you use something like a jasper rig. Be sure to pre-drill holes where you are going to put the screws because otherwise the MDF will split. CleanSierra Posted May 14, 2012 Report Share Posted May 14, 2012 ***Damn ninja^^ 3/4 inch MDF, titebond(2 I believe) wood glue and 2 1/2 in wood screws. Make sure you pre-drill your screw holes in order to prevent splitting and dont go TOO near any corner of edge as that could cause a split too. stay about 3 inches from corners for screw locations.
