Jordan Guess Posted May 15, 2012 Report Posted May 15, 2012 tried making individual boxes for each of them with a PVC port for my single cab but it didn't turn out as well as i had hoped so Im gonna put them in my girlfriends ford ranger extended cab and need some suggestions or draw outs. max dimensions are 10x22x31. the 10 HAS to be the depth since I can only fit so much behind the seat, but the smallest box possible would be nice. DD recommends these to be in a ported box and tuned between 35-40 hz. thanks for your input!
fecupe2001 Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 If the depth has to be 10" then you definitely need port up or port size, those subs are awesome on every box you get them lol, port and subs directions that i wouldn´t know on your application, but like my boy corona jeff said, 1.7 cubic feet it´s perfect for them if you want to go that route, i tested them on a few boxes and best i found was 2.1 cubic feet, but of course, it was a different application since i don´t even know the amount of power you are gonna feed them, 34SQ of port it´s A MONSTER TIP on your subs, corona jeff is right on about that, you could also go with a single 6" aeroport , either way, is gonna be loud I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
