bibby>Chode
I want mine to do that. On the real how much did you end up spending all together? That is awesome Bibby..Freakn pimp..Thats gotta ride better then these coilovers. Awesome job bro seriously.I have about 1500 total. About 1400 in parts, thena nother 100 or so in supplies, like nuts, bolts, wire, heatshrink, stuff like that. I coulda got it moving for a grand, but i wehnt ahead with larger lines, fbss instead of fb, larger tank, and better compressor. The ride quality is awesome. If its all the way up, its ok, but a little rough. All the way down is hell unless youa re on a smooth road. About midway up is where it's at. It rides so much better than my coils bro, i cant even describe. Seriously.
meade916
good shit man!! and on the last post, good thinking its always best to get the good stuff before you start. Half assin' it will only make you regret it later...... also people who havent ever used Cans just dont know, they have a NICE sweet-spot or 2 that can actually have it riding nice! YOur right, "locked up" (all the way up) sucks, that is like having concrete for shocks....all the way down is like having no shocks........but in the middle, its great. Nothing new here its the same if your on regular bags or even hydraulics..... anyway great build! i dont remember seeing you install the cans though, was it plug and play? I had to fabricate and weld some stuff to make mine work......maybe thats why im tucking an inch past my rim in the back and im in the "middle hole" like you are... addiction2bass
nice.... if ya dont mind meade..... whats your sweet pressure PSI? just curious...... im trying to put my kit together to be FBSS but i think my last thing to buy MIGHT be the compressor..... ill just fill the tank up every now and then.LOL depending how much i play with it.... how much can you play with yours before it needs to be recharged/filled? and how large is your air tank? as long as thier no air leaks that is id like to keep my air tanks hidden in the spare tire location if i can find some small enough to fit... or maybe ill just try making my own outta some heavy steel. doesnt have to look preaty just functional. I had to fabricate and weld some stuff to make mine work......maybe thats why im tucking an inch past my rim in the back and im in the "middle hole" like you are...We had to build a front bottom bracket from scratch. We used a 1" pipe collar, and a nut. Then the rears i cut the top nut off, and tightened it on between two nuts, and lock washers. I think i can get the rear in that top hole if i use some washers. Also, i cna cut 3/4 of an inch all the way around by removing the rubber cushon. I thought i was going to need it, but i dont think i am.
