I dont think 0ga caused your battery to die. You have another issue. Power wire transfers juice, doesnt do anything else.

Well it's strange I have the 4 gauge installed in the truck now just finished now the headlights don't dim or anything so I'm confused, with the 0 gauge wire it would dim the headlights completely out, this is a kicker zx 400.1 amp RMS Wattage at 4 Ohm x 1 Channel: 200 I have never had a small amp like this to dim headlights? Let along kill a battery It would haft to be the big wire am I wrong?

Well witch of these would be best or are they both useless 1st KOLE AUDIO 300 AMP 16 VOLTS DC CAPCELL BATTERY CAPACITOR W/ DIGITAL VOLT METER

2: Shuriken SK-BT20 20 Amp Hour 12V Car Audio AGM Power Cell Battery

Or what would you recommend for a little more power other then a HO alternator

Honestly I would suggest figuring out what is wrong with your electrical. You shouldn't be dimming on 400 watts, your battery shouldn't randaomly go dead either. What brand of 0 gauge do you have.

If you are having no problems with the 4 gauge and you're wanting to add some capacitance I would go with the Shuriken.
