If so here are my specs. for 1 fi q 12 I have 32W 16H and 40D. all in inches I will be throwing around 1300-1700 watts to it. sub back port back. car is a 2003 grand prix. I listen to mainly rock, classic rock, country, and a lot of metal. I do listen to the occasional rap. Do you have a good front stage to allow lower tuning? What type of car? Sub up,back or front Port up back front or side When you say over powering what with and by how much? you do no there 1500rms rated each ? I listen to everything but mainly rock, metal, classic rock and a lot of the new emo kind of stuff. I want the subs to be accurate and detailed. Im talking about 500 over RMS sub back port back. I was also thinking about porting through the arm rest on my grand prix or rear deck. I haven't completely decided yet. if I port through read deck, my height will then consist of 18 inches instead of 16. Front stage will consist of HAT Legatia series components. john253a Posted May 21, 2012 Report Share Posted May 21, 2012 (edited) Didn't read the your first post to well You want to run 2 x 10 and 2 x 12 At 500 over so 8000rms Just pick either the 10's or 12's To set up both will be a nightmare as there too close is in size and feq output The only way I've seen it done is 12 at 25-30 hz low passes at 45-60hz 10's at 45-65hz subsonic set at 50 lowpasses at 80-125 And still may not sound that good I ran 2 8" and 1 12" all sealed in my last setup 12 0-50hz on a 24db slope and 8's 50-125hz on a 12db slope slop and surrounds at 160+ And I was never happy with the outcome But ported will be harder to set up and cost a lot more in eq's Edited May 21, 2012 by john253a Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I still thought the q's were still 1000 watts rms. 2000 watts for the sub. roughly about 2500-3000 watts with mids and highs as well. my 320 amp mechman alt is almost completely paid for. The electrical will be up to par. Sorry for all the confusion. My car on a regular sealed lead acid battery and stock alt on 1300watts my lowest voltage was 13.7 at the amps.
