Although iOS 5 is very amazing.

You went from ios 4 to iOS 5. iOS 4 was last years operating system for Idevices. The issue is, apple updates every time you go to take a shit.

Kenwood updates very not often. And soon I would imagine drop support for last years head units (xx5 series, new series is xx6)

UNLESS!! You jail broke your iPod 4g and used tinyumbrella to back up your SHSH blobs for ios4

Apple prevents putting old iOS versions on your devices. Yes, you can find download sites which have old iOS versions, but they will not work

i had my ipod jailbroken with cydia, but i got tired of it and it went away after the update.

Unless you want to start playing with fire, and losing all your data on your idevice multiple times it's time to back out.

Any move from here brings the possibility of bricking (destroying) your idevice.

yea that happened with my i pod touch so i now use a jump drive i will never go back to a apple product my jump drive is cheaper and 16g i hate apple
