help with box for suv .......plz

I got two 15" earthquake tremor x ....on a 4000 watt planetaudio amp.and want a to build a new box just can't decide what kind .and how to put subs and port. it wil be in a 94 Ford explorer...is it better subs up port back .or subs back port back .i only listen to rap and want it to hit as hard as it can .space I got is ....44"W x 20"H x 24"D ...prefer slot port or internal/external aero port don't no what is better ..hoping yall can help me with design ....I am New to this

you will need to double and triple check you measurements

what i have is close but not perfect, car, surround and other things will come into play

So what would sound better subs up port back or subs back port back .....and should I go with a common chamber or seperated chamber ...........slot port, aero port. T line .kerfed port .I need advice I want the bass to.hit as hard as possible and to move as much air as possible plz any advice will help ......and thanks man but I really don't no.any thing bout it I.got some one else to build it i need design help lol

sub up port back

if you want to save some space go common chamber 3 common wall port

but in the end its your box and should look the way you want it look, the sound compromise will me minimal if at all, for street bass, if you after numbers that a different story

Here is a suggestion subs up shared port back:

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 35 Hz

Vb = 6 ft^3

External Height = 19 in

External Width = 41 in

External Depth = 22 in

Port Width = 6 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.

* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

Top & Bottom = 41 x 22

Left & Right Sides = 20 1/2 x 17 1/2

2x Front = 17 1/2 x 17 1/2

Back = 41 x 17 1/2

Shared Port Internal Assembly Parts:

2 x Front to Back = 17 1/2 x 17 1/2

2 x Extension = 3 1/2 x 17 1/2

Thank guys I appreciate it I think ill go subs up port back .....I hit 124.5db in a prefab box on the dash .hopefully I hit a lot higher with New box .

you should be in the 130's with these,

are you afer numbers, groundpounder on a good all rounder

if numbers idd tune around 35-37hz

good alrounder 30-35

groundpounder 28-30

Ya after numbers would like to hit 140 and above but don't think I will with these subs but in like 6 months Iam getting earthquake dbxi 15" and hopefullyi will hit it then .....thanks guys
