07sOnAtA sp.ed
Hey, can someone inform me on how to stop distortion from components. When i put up my music, in my old car (the one my younger brother now owns) the components distort, to counteract this i pit the bass level down and the sub level up, which help alot, but i was wondering if there is anything else i could do. i was thinking maybe turning down the gain, on my interior speaker amp or something. I'm not sure, so please leave advice. Guest MegaloManiac
well you either probably should turn down that bass equilizer on the HU or maybe you have a ton standing waves, if thats case a deflex pad should be put behind the mid. AI James
sounds like when you say bass, that you have the crossovers set improperly.
aquill1
Check and make sure you plugged the rca's in the back of the radio to the rear or front spot and not the sub out. Check your crossover on the amp is it set to full/high or low?
