Grounding to the frame| first time need help

ok im working on a 1970 chevy impala and i got my whole cut to run my ground to the frame but drilling this whole is a B***h. i have one of those step drill bits and a black n decker 18v drill and im not making that much progress. is there any other or better tool i need, or tricks of the trade that yall can help me with, any will help thanx

i usually use like a 1/8" bit to predill my hole and use a step bit from there

Yea go buy a sharp 1/8th" drill bit made for drilling steel and start with that...also try spraying penetrating oil on it to lubricate the bit.

First make sure the frame is sanded down to bare metal so it's shiny, and after the terminal is bolted on you can paint it so it doesn't rust.
