ddlvr630 Posted May 22, 2012 Report Share Posted May 22, 2012 ok i have two DD 510's on a konaki amp gettn about 900 rms. the other day the amp went into protect and i havnt gottn it workn since. ill be bringn it to someone to look at it this week. since then i put the subs on my 2 channel amp that was powering my speakers. i took the rear speakers off the amp and hooked the subs to them. they worked good on that for a day. now today i was driving and the speaker amp went into protect. i shut the car off took the power wire out of the speaker amp and the speakers still play. whats up with that when i have all the speakers hooked up to the amp? btw, the speaker amp is a power acoustik cpt2-400. another thing i noticed today b4 it protected is that when i shut my car off, keys out and everything, the amps are still lit up...idk whats goin on here. im guessing bad wiring? i do know however that the business that put everything in, they did a shit job!! wires everywhere etc. ive since moved out of state so i cant go to them. the wiring kit used was a cadence FDA 4+8K. if you guys need anymore info please ask. yes im kind of a noob at car audio so give me some slack please! 2004 cavalier 2 door 5 speedalpine cda-103skar pax 6.5s power acoustik D1-6000power acoustic 4-2600soundquest 1/0 throughoutDC XL M2 18 walledstock altbig 3 donestock battery under hood, 1400cca 400ah semi battery in the trunk Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
