memphisBred
That's all in your box. Mine do well from 30-48 hz. Starts to roll off pretty good above 55 with it tuned at 34 hz. I'd tune it to 32-35 hz. Quote SMD Super Seller/Buyer Audison----Hertz----Rainbow
memphisBred
If you got the time, money and want to, I'd build the box around 4.25 cubes. Try it out, play with some different ports, decrease the size, play with port orientation, etc and see what you like the best. That's what I did with my n2 while I waited on the others to come in. But if your like others and want to build the box and not touch it again try 3.5 cubes, 55-60 sq in of port and a tuning of 32 hz. Joe X
I'm in Calabria. referring to the drawing, the max external dimension for the box in my renault clio III R are: a: 26 c: 17.28 h: 13.59 alpha:61.8° beta:79.4° box lenght: 37.82 port and subwoofer should be on top in "c" for the simple box external dimensions are: 17.28 x 17.28 x 37.82 The simple box will get you 3 cubes net at 35Hz the trapezoid one about 4 cubes net at 35Hz both slot ported. The trapezoid one will need to be port/sub up. This is just to give you a raw idea of what you may be able to do.
dranny
ok, I would go without fail. now you have the maximum size of my box (simple or not ... never mind) Whereas I like the deep bass, can I have a box design?
Joe X
Likely this will need to be built inside the trunk: These are the port parts: L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Top to Bottom = 6 1/4 x 14 Extension = 8 1/2 x 14 Port Left Side Assembly: 6 1/4 x 5 14 1/4 x 5 Port Right Side Assembly: 6 1/4 x 5 14 1/4 x 5 Notice the double baffle, As you can see the port has independent side walls and the box has to be built to exact dimensions for the port parts to fit.
