87chevyboi Posted May 25, 2012 Report Posted May 25, 2012 i am about to put my order in for my fi subs i was looking at the btl's as that is the highly popular sub. While looking at their page they have an sp4 series that i have never heard of. Has anybody else heard of it? or know anything about it? I am jw as to if i should order them or stick to the btls? I am going to order the 18s and im thinking dual 1 ohm for a daily setup? What do yall think? comments and concerns are more than welcomed. Thanks in advance for your input. Also what options should i get wit the sub? should i just go fully loaded all that i can add or should i choose a little differently? My build aka Snow White whats wrong with fat chicks? they are like mopeds, as long as your friends dont see you riding it, they are a blast! hahah I am dumb as a stump. I live in the south and we are all dumb here.

bkolfo4 Posted May 25, 2012 Report Posted May 25, 2012 The SP4 is more of a daily sub. Good clean, deep bass with a little bit of output sacrifice vs. the BTL. If you are not going to be worried about your meter score, go with the SP4. If you are one of these guys that LOVES your setup until you see the TL score, go with the BTL. Current system: 1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s Previous systems: 2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz. 1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.
