How big is too big of a box for a RE sxx 10?

Need help SMD!

dont know if i should run specs of 1.25 cubes or make a large box (2+ cubes). I wanna be moving some air and my question is what is too big and what port area per foot is too big?> will i get just as many Dbs off a box to specs? would like to be flexxin some stuff

I want to run Aeros and be tuned at 32 hz, Any suggestions? thx

Here is a slot ported design just in case:

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 32 Hz

Vb = 1.254 ft^3

External Height = 12 in

External Width = 28 in

External Depth = 13 in

Port Width = 1 3/4 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.

* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

Front & Back = 28 x 12

Left & Right Sides = 11 1/2 x 10 1/2

Top & Bottom = 28 x 11 1/2

L Port Internal Assembly Parts:

Front to Back = 9 3/4 x 10 1/2

Extension = 21 1/4 x 10 1/2

Aeros are comfortable to work with in some cases and others not. This has proper volume, port area and the tuning you want.

Anyone tell me the advantages of going to 1.25 cubes rather than 2 cubes besides "Re recommends it"? will it be louder?

If the box is bigger it will take less power to bottom out the sub, 2 cubes is way high.
