Just turn your gain to 3/4 don't use a bass knob and itstead use this setting on your hu called volume to control the bass..

I have never had a problem with it going from BOOM BOOM BOOM to pew pew pew.

I dont understand how it would get louder with what you're doing. Going past the distortion point doesn't really make it louder, just adds some shit to the sound waves. So you hear shit.

uhh, if i play a song with quiet bass i just turn the gain knob up a tiny bit.. lol.

if the gain knob is already maxed (so called proper tuning) it cant go any higher, and the bass will still be quiet on that song.

this is rather unfortunate because i wanted to hear the song.

haha no i dont set gains on the side of the road.

but theres like 2-3 songs in my playlist that are quiet and need a boost.

if i tune them properly with a scope or a dd-1 those songs would still be quiet.

the thousands of other songs will sound nice.. but those 2-3 bother the shit out of me.
