Made up a simple amp rack out of boredom today

It's no beauty board, just something to get my amps off the floor in my truck. Gonna paint it black, or give it a dark stain, not sure yet.

Carpet it and sand then it'll be beautiful

Well, I have tan carpeting in my car, so I'm not sure about carpeting it in tan and making it look dumb or using mismatching carpet. Maybe spraying it with bedliner? I will be sanding it regardless of what I decide to do.

Carpet is the easiest to clean things up. Painting it shows the flaws, if youre using bedliner the texture hides the flaws. Up to you, I would carpet and try to keep if looking factory

Dammit you're pushing me towards carpet. I don't know what flaws you will see since the whole board will be covered with amp. I don't know how to carpet the feet on it.

you could paint the feet I guess

True. May paint the feet and carpet it just to see how it looks, then paint the whole thing if I don't like it.

sometimes the best designs are the simpliest for real..

i got basically the same layout in my own ride

Can't lose with simplicity brother.

Looks ike it will do the job and that is what matters

That and hopefully free up some space in my ride! :D

This is what I'd do man, slap your amp/amps on (they are gonna take up most of the board anyways) ((I'm assuming)) and maybe sand it a little bit and just spray rubberized undercoating (truck bedliner) on that bad boy and she'll look just fine :drinks:
