Weird Yea, i am starting to lean toward the thought that it may have been an internal malfunction, not a single fuse blew in the setup, none on the amp or inline, but the other option is that since my amp was trying to pull more power than what the length of 4g wire I had could deliver, that can cause casings to melt, where in this case a hot and ground wire melted to each other and made a connection right by the amp.
