Low power subs that can play low?

Recommended Posts

Currently i have 1 15, and it's just not cutting it lol. So i thought about getting 1 AA Mayhem 18. but i thought again and thought about going with 6-8 12's or 15's but with less power. to get that ir movin (: my only problem is finding subs that are cheaper in cost but can still hit low. the AA is 600 shipped so id like to stay very close to or under that for the subs. suggestions?

You could get American Bass XFLs.

1000w rms a piece, they're like 159 new & they hit hard.

They produce them nice deep lows. ( of course it depends on the box )

cool man. pretty much what i am looking. . . so i could go pick up a walmart sony sub and tune a box nice and low and hit low?

Not necessarily...some of the cheaper subs suck ass period and won't give you what you want, but any decent sub should play down to...28hz easy if you tune it low. I only have 2 SA-12's and I can play as low as 22hz with no problems. I have vids if you want to see?
