Want to know what steps to take on Dropping my 98 Tahoe Help

Recommended Posts

My 98 Tahoe sits stock right now. Am wondering whats the steps on dropping it. Maybe bagging it. Any thing i can do without spending to much. And is there any tricks to dropping it with out having to buy anything.... ive heard cutting the springs but never have done anything like that....

bagging is around 1500-2000 do it ur self with a new kit

dropping is around 350 used springs with ur camber kit, probably need a spring compressor unless youre handy with tools

People used to cut their springs back in the day all the time, but since springs are only around 300 new and much safer people recommend doing that

Scion tC SQ Build
iPad mini, lots of fabrication, daily driven
Ford Explorer C Pillar Wall Build

Just a cheap car to destroy with bass :D

  • 2 weeks later...

Its a 4x4 you can loosen up the torsion bars an drop the front. And drop shackles for the back depending how low you want to go. The cheaper you go to drop it the more it will ride like shit. If done right it will still half ass ride good and handle alot better.
