banginsebring07
What do these things like for box sizes, i know the manufacturer specs, but real world, what have you guys found them to like. Gettting ready to redo a setup for one of my buddies and was curious. It will only have about 1500 on it, if you needed to know. This is the old box i had built him. No shops around wanted to try and do it for him. They said it couldn't be done with enough airspace, lol. Behind the seats of a Del Sol. Only reason it was done like this is he didn't want to cut the car, but now plans have changed.

Charger
We had one off a T40001 Rockford. It would take it for very short periods of time but not to say it really liked that much power but it took it. You could get away with even half of that which is still plenty for that sub. They even wang off 1000w each. If you're running only 1500w I would build the box around 5ft^3 net. with a fair amount of port area to get as much efficiency as you can. TechSys
Two of mine are in 9ft^3 tuned to 37Hz (for bassracing), They're on a memphis mojo 2000d amp @2ohm (my subs are quad 1ohm). Haven't had any problem at all with this setup. SS recommends 3.3ft^3 @ 34hz. At least that's what they keep telling me. they also told me not to go much larger than that or problems will begin. Of curse that may be cause they don't want me to blow them, in effect, having them recone the subs (which cost $80 each) Team Pinnacle / Team SouthEastSPL / Team SoundStream / Team GPI / GPI Sales Rep for Florida and Georgia
banginsebring07
Yeah i had ran one in my truck at one point in time. I think it was 5 or 5.5 net with a memphis 1000d. Pulled a 47.8 out of it, but that was with one window down. Still would've done ok with windows up i believe. I was leaning towards around 4.5 or so net myself. Tuned to 35, with around 60 square inches of port.
