1 amp, 5 blown woofers?

Too lazy to read through the thread... But what track did you use when you used the dd-1?

The amp might be bad too. Try a different one. I had a fairly high powered amp that had something take a crap/short out on the board and sent some sort of odd signal through the sub, frying it. Took out my level 5 in about 8-10 seconds...

Ok, quick update, for anyone who still cares....

Here we go, I just received my DD-1 back from repair on Saturday. I emailed them to find out what was actually wrong with it. Here is what they replied

"

It had a blown diode, this is typical when tested on bigger amplifiers. The new higher voltage diode was installed. This should not be an issue anymore.

"

So, now that it is working (I never thought I'd miss that tool so much, considering if didn't have one for 15 years) I reset all of the levels in the problem car. Also, I took the pos Diesel amp apart to look at it. After I looked at it and didn't see anything cool, I tossed it. Gone. And I threw a Vr3 (shhhhh.... lol) that I use as a bench power in the car until the new amp comes in. So far so good. Nothing has blow up yet lol I'm sure it was something screwy with that amp. Can't wait for the new one.
