I am running 2 ts-w3004spl subwoofers which are dual 4 ohm coils. they are ran to a prs-d5000spl amp which is a monoblock class d amp. Im pretty sure from what ive been told that it can only be wired to 1 ohm and 4 ohms but my amp will not run 1 ohm so is 4 ohms my only option? 134db Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

soundstream15 Posted June 8, 2012 Report Share Posted June 8, 2012 yes, if that amp is not 1ohm stable then it wont work. if you do wire it up to 1ohm then it would get really hot and shut off on you, just run it at 4ohm till you get a better amp btw, that amp will not put out any where near 5000w Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
