AB18VFL Posted June 8, 2012 Report Share Posted June 8, 2012 (edited) About a month ago, i bought a kdc-x695, i made the mistake of ignoring the warranty option. It has front aux, front usb and a cd player. 2 weeks after i bought it, in the middle of spl testing, my USB drive stopped working. We switched to CD's, now the CD drive won't read CDs. The only thing I can use now is my AUX input. This makes me "outlaw" in any comp i enter in, because I would have to use TNESPL's CDs or flashdrives and now I cant. Is there a way I can still hook up a flashdrive to my head unit? I was thinking about getting a 3.5mm to male USB cable, then adding a Female usb to Female usb adaptor. I looked in the manual troubleshooting and i found "USB drive not working?" and under solution it said "reset the unit", but i cant find out how...
