Joe X
I modeled that sub (with car audio specific modelling software) it's meant for use in sealed enclosures primarily (it performs kind of linear in a 1 cubic feet sealed box heavily damped), since the sub is from an Australian firm your best bet is posting in a local forum, I read questions being asked about those from European and African customers so you may try forums over there too. john253a
thanks joe i was getting the same, there box they supply is 1.6net 35hz and 16.8sq" port, they seem to get low and loud in there boxes, but not much info on them except all there line is copied from something, iv got a mate with one in their box but it doesnt fit in his new car, thats why i lookn to see what can be done to improve it. hence bigger box and lower tune to try and flatten the response, it seems to mode well in 2.5net @20hz, as for asking in other forms they all seem to use the factory ported box, no one seem to be doing much with them due the price (a bit steep at $499au each)
