Speaker wire, and RCA cable, cheap local bought???

Recommended Posts

OK, so I am looking for some cheap, but not garbage speaker wire, and RCA cables. but since I, 1 don't want to pay for shipping, and 2 don't want to wait another week for it to get here. I would like it to be bought at a store, such as Walmart, or Radioshack, etc... So what have you used. money, and time are tight so any input would be helpful.

Home depot has rolls of monster cable speaker wire. 14 gauge its like 20 bucks for 50 feet.

And regular RCA from radio shack would work

radio shack sells monster now i hate monster but if you have to have it now there are worse options. also their premium line is decent at the shack. best buy has metra speaker wire, rockford wiring, and kicker wiring in stock. i dont know how far you are from chicago or its suburbs but look at shops there.

I appreciate the concern over being impatient, and making a poor decision buying cheap stuff. But I have been waiting and saving for over a year, and I have almost everything, I will buy quality stuff eventually, but I just want all my stuff hooked up this Friday. I cannot handle the stock radio anymore, the cassette died(I used to use the tape converter), and now I am stuck with only the radio. Trey_Dog650 I was thinking about that, or some in-wall stuff because it is suppose to be more resistant to elements. I will check out Best Buy tomorrow when I go shopping around. I also never thought about Craigslist, I will scan that for the next few days.

Also I never really planned on going to Walmart, It was just an example. LOL, (sarcasm)but are you guys really saying that BOSS stereo stuff is garbage???(/sarcasm) LOL
