Bam Bam
I am using a SS-XXX10K and I have good electric as well as Mechman voltage boost module to keep my voltage up at 16 volts. My question is can this amp run at .5 ohms on 16 volts? I am anticipating box rise so my guess is I should be just under 1 ohm when slappin. I have heard mixed opinions about this. This guy on Youtube is running it at .5 ohms on good current but bad voltage and the amp got hot without really pushing it hard so will the amp do it daily no issues. Real96SS
What exactly does slappin mean? Also you cant get a good answer to your question unless we know exactly what you are running for electrical. I'm hoping your running a 14v batteries if your charging at 16v cause that's not good for 12v batteries. Bam Bam
Slappin or Beating. I have 3 Stinger SP2150 in back and a Optima battery under the hood. I have a dual alturnator setup 270 amp Mechman and a stock 130 amp. I adjust the voltage module when I am need more volts and run it hard. In most cases the system will charge and remain steady at 14.7-15.4 volts. I will kick it up to 16.5 volts when i'm clowning. n8ball2013
the only thing I can see is it draws 550 amps of current. if thats the case its uber efficient but at .5 it will draw almost double that. you would really be rolling the dice if you tried it they arent exactly the most stable to begin with. Bam Bam
No. the batteries see around 14.7-15.3 volts. When I really want to push it hard I adjust the module up to 16 volts. I usually run it like this for a fees hours batteries are not constantly seeing 16 volts. Quote 6 Funky Pup 12's
splzx3
hmm so that is still bad/hard on them y not just do a 14 volt system Quote ________________________________________________________________________ deepsilencer, on 22 Aug 2011 - 17:32, said: splzx3, on 22 Aug 2011 - 17:27, said: i had my fun on one of his videos...till he blocked me then i got my mother into it lol after her he closed the comments xD lol your mom is a G! Bam Bam
Need the money to replace the batteries. Stock Alturnators for my vehicle usualyy charge at 14.2-14.4 volts so it is not excessively high until I raise it to 16 volts.
