ChevyBoy95 Posted June 19, 2012 Report Share Posted June 19, 2012 your amp will still probably shut down with an extra battery. or at least wont protect as often (but still will). with that power, you need a new high output alt AND a battery not true. a good battery in the back and a good one up front and you should have no issues unless you run full tilt for minute or more straight. A HO alt would be in your best interest to get, but a battery will do for now. Just look at the cost of a good battery (~$250-300) and the cost of an alt (~$300-400). It takes power to make power. Well what basshead doesnt run full tilt? This guy isn't competeing, it's a daily driver.
