ZachG Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 Ok so I have my 12 in & in about a week I'm putting my second sub in to run at 2ohms off a 2011 zx1500.1 Anyway how much do you think it should cost me to get it tuned properly. At my local shop they want $50, or someone I know has a dd-1 & will tune it with that for $25. What do you guys think I should do 1998 Pontiac grand prix gtp supercharged2 12" Obsidain Audio V.1 on a 2011 zx1500.1 at 2 ohms. 20ft of Knuconceptz CCA 0 Guage. 2nd Battery is a Shurken BT-120. Box is 3.5cu tuned at 31.8hz sealed off from the trunk. 14sqft of Dynamat on the Rear deck top & bottom. Soon to be more for doors/roof. Gets low & loud Did a 140.5 Sealed at Battle of the boom in June 2013 dropping to 12.7v (need a alt mines going bad)
1996BLKBauer Posted June 18, 2012 Report Posted June 18, 2012 My local shop tunes systems for $40 an hour, but they place an analyzer in the driver seat, and actually tune every speaker, instead of just adjusting the gain on the sub amp. But DD-1 would be the obvious choice. 1996 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer V8 AWD So far with the Ford/JBL Stock Stereo system, Alpine System coming soon.
