Please help.

Well...I had an RE 12.1 and it worked just fine when I pulled it out of my truck. I sold it to this kid, helped him hook it up and everything and it won't play for shit in his ride. I pulled it out, put in a JL 250/1 and that worked just fine. I'm seriously confused as hell. He has 2 dual 4 ohm type R's, so wired down to 1 ohm and it barely beats. I checked the RCA's, LPF and HPF, speaker wire...I'm seriously lost. Especially since with everything done up properly, the 250/1 works and the 12.1 doesn't.

huh...wierd. i would try and do like accordman said and see if you can hook it up to your system again, if you havent already tore the wires out. the gains up on the amp? maybe bace rca inputs?

All the wires are out of my truck, gains were fine, RCA's were fine. I'm seriously lost.

you probally just need to reset the amp. basically what you do is un plug the amp just the power and ground. and then short the 2 terminals to discharge it.  then hook it back up and try it. that happened to me on my 4channel Avionixx.

lol i totally woulnt recommend that on those POS RE amps, you tell someone from RE that you shorted somethign out trying to fix it and they are gonna look at you like your an idiot

but thats how you reset them...atleast the Avionixx and eD amps

i believe those amps are made by the same people, RE,s arent

although they might look similar eD has a differnet builder for their amps, same soft parts but completely differnt boards. the internals are dissappointing on the eD amps, except the NINe 1
