rcmobile Posted January 3, 2008 Report Share Posted January 3, 2008 here is some basic pics of how i am starting to do my highs, it is all soundstream sst, 6.5' so far i have two sets of the memphis m_class tweeters also. i wanted two 6.5s per door but i am going to put more it is a start. i took more pics but have to get them from work, i had to cut metal out from the door, make an mdf plate and cut to fit and trim it i will post more pics as it goes. rcmobile Posted January 3, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 3, 2008 got some more goodies to go in, Memphis M- class tweeters installed cut into door, Dont have pics yet and right behind factory a piller spot that the normal tweeters come in,,,sound great so far, with two 6.5's in each door and complete second skin in the doors , they have a good amount of bass going to them. going to put one more 6.5 in the front somewhere, also made the same kind of plate for the rear doors. just for one 6.5 to go into them here is some pics of new stuff today Quote High Amperage Audio DC Sound Dealer Sun down audio dealer Anything you need hit me up What more do you need than them!! rcmobile Posted January 4, 2008 Author Report Share Posted January 4, 2008 i will post some more tonight, basically what i did, was take the grill off draw it on cardboard. then cut a piece of half inch mdf out. and use my sander to shape it just right. cut the two hole then draw it on the inside the door and cut out the metal behind there. very tricky as the window motor is right there also. wrap it and 4 screws from the back and there ya go.
