OrionStang
I honestly think for a first show, and only one class, dbdrag is the way to go. Find your peak in qualifying, then burp that freq. Gets your feet wet, and also an idea of what song you need to look for(constant frequency) for bassrace. Twostrokeking
If you don't know your numbers, do dbdrag. Its just highest spl possible on a burp. The judges will tell you what class you're in. For practice/qualifying, find your peak freq. Use a tone to burp that freq in dbdrag. That will help you determine your bassrace class for next time. Okay sounds good! It's hard to decide which one to do. Do they tell me my peak freq? And will they have a cd with the freq on it? speeddemon0308
is you watch this video from about 3:00 on its all bassrace runs. if you are going to do 129.9 you want to be able to burp about a 134+ same with 139.9, you want to burp about 143ish. you need some head room incase you get a bad start with 2 8's you should be okay to do 129.9 you want a song with a bass note that is as constant as possible. OrionStang
You can figure out your peak before your real run. The judge will help you if you need it. Download tones from 30-50hz (at least) to your ipod. At around half-volume, pay each tone a few seconds, and the one that shows highest on the TL is the one you want to use when you go full tilt. OrionStang
Member name 'Autruche' had downloads available in his sig. The judges should also have the official CD with all the tracks. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
