ZachG
Hey I got a question, would a stock battery + a shrunken bt-120, with a 130amp alt powering everything be enough to keep a decent voltage playing my zx1500.1 running at 2ohms putting out around 1600rms. Or would that still not be enough Quote 1998 Pontiac grand prix gtp supercharged2 12" Obsidain Audio V.1 on a 2011 zx1500.1 at 2 ohms. 20ft of Knuconceptz CCA 0 Guage. 2nd Battery is a Shurken BT-120. Box is 3.5cu tuned at 31.8hz sealed off from the trunk. 14sqft of Dynamat on the Rear deck top & bottom. Soon to be more for doors/roof. Ballen194
For a little while yes. But in the long run you'll destroy that bt 120 mixing it with a stock wet cell batt. AgentTyler
Running Wet Cell and AGM together is not a good mix. Check out this. It's an isolator that you connect both bats and your alt to and charges each one individually so they aren't ran in parallel. I'm guessing if I got that I would have to run a second run of 0 gauge Quote 1998 Pontiac grand prix gtp supercharged2 12" Obsidain Audio V.1 on a 2011 zx1500.1 at 2 ohms. 20ft of Knuconceptz CCA 0 Guage. 2nd Battery is a Shurken BT-120. AgentTyler
A second run to where? One run from Alt to the Iso, One run from the iso to the rear/second battery, then one run from iso to front battery. MrSkippyJ
why put an isolator in? that makes no sense at all. It completely defeats the purpose of putting 2 batteries in.
