RCP Audio
my guess is its the one gally put up. is that thing really worth reconing? Quote PSN: Rcp_soundz Good rule of thump is go by what fuse size is being used in these amps. The higher the more amperage it pulls, this is what I look at. I'll stick a 300 amp fuse in a potato and sell it to you for $2k. 1991 Mazda 323VERY small build thread here: http://www.stevemead...23-small-build/
boomroomsoon
Neither of them are it; but the second one is a little closer. It looks very similar in design to a Cactus Sounds MK 1 18" sub based on pure appearance. The vented back plate on mine is flat, but otherwise, they're very VISUALLY similar. 3" vc, dual spiders, and dual 4ohm vc. I just want to go to dual 2ohm coils on it basically. boomroomsoon
Thanks for nothing. After researching A LOT; I found out that it was a hybrid sub that used parts from several different subs that fake snobs brag on all the time. It was never meant to be sold to a large scale audience; which is why it was never labeled. It was a trial series to gauge interest in the speaker. The dealer that sold it to me also has some old Hifonics 15" subs that don't have their logos on them either. They've (Maxxsonics)contacted him about sending the subs(he has 4 of them) back to the factory for the equivalent of 8 new subs. It's good to know that some jerks can support Chinese made subs by American companies, and American made subs with Chinese parts; but a good sub that was musical and could get loud cleanly is talked about like it's garbage. Having been in car audio since 88; I'll do what I've always done and do my own work to find better answers without silly ass answers clouding the way. BTW; the dealer that I originally bought it from is going to do the re-cone with dual 2 ohm coils for $80. I've always respected answers from people on SMD; and I'll have to be more of a comment and keep moving person like I have been. Quote Bladder bursting bass fan!
